Prerequisites
Exposure to creating reports in commonly available reporting products, such as Microsoft Access or Crystal Reports.
Conceptual understanding of the push and pull distribution/subscription paradigm.
Experience navigating the Microsoft Windows Server environment.
Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, including:
-Basic knowledge of SQL
-Using SQL Server Agent
-Configuring SQL Server accounts (users and permissions)
Writing Queries using Microsoft SQL Server 2008 Transact SQL (MS2778)
Course outline
In this three-day instructor-led course you will learn how to implement a Reporting Services solution. The course discusses how to use the development tools to create reports and report models, and how to use the Reporting Services management and administrative tools to manage a Reporting Services solution.
