Microsoft Hosting Summit 2007

Hi there. It has been a while ago I last posted here. Together with my colleague I traveled to Seattle again to attend the Microsoft Hosting Summit. This is an exclusive invitation-only event that gathers senior executives from the hosting industry world wide. The main theme this year was Hosting 2.0, SaaS and the upcoming release of HMC 4.0!

One of the presentations that I really liked was from Hyder Ali on WSS 3.0 in particularly on the Fab40. This is a set of 40 out of the box applications that you can use on Windows SharePoint Services 3.0. The interesting part for the hosting community is the WSS Hosting Kit that will be available shortly. This kit will definitely ease up the provisioning process of the application templates.
