Sad = Happy in past tense.
It happened once in a time that I got a new machine: and you know what: I was happy with it. It was a huge machine: 64 bits dual core, 8 GB internal memory and two disks. i installed Windows Server 2008 on it and I was happy, it had everything: Windows Server Virtualization worked like a charm, it had enough memory to run the neatest of virtual environments and the processing power to do so without the annoyance of delay.
I installed Windows Vista 64 bits along side Windows Server, and I still was happy with it. It ran like acharm, I installed office and more specific Groove on it, And I still was happy, I imported my account to synchronize a lot of data. and now it starts…
I ran in to the following interface…
HMMM OK I can live with that, (I am not happy, but other workspaces will do…)
But then I decided to blog about this. (I am using Windows Live writer to do so.) it was a new install of vista, so download the installation files, and go:
down the drain went my happiness.
(I do hope I do not run in to other issues like this, or I’ll have to revert to Vista 32 bits.) I am very happy I do have my laptop for blogging….
