Vista and WinFx February CTP is available
You might have already seen it, but at the MSDN site, you can now download the latest CTP for developing with all the cool WinFx stuff, such as Windows Presentation Foundation, Windows Communication Foundation, Windows Workflow Foundation and lots more.
It also includes a download for “Orcas” which is the set op development tools needed to program the WinFx components.
As said on MSDN: Visual Studio Code Name “Orcas” CTP WinFX Development Tools – provides developers with support for building WinFX applications using the final released version of Visual Studio 2005. This support includes XAML Intellisense support through schema extensions for the editor, project templates for the Windows Presentation Foundation and the Windows Communication Foundation, and WinFX SDK documentation integration.
So it seems the biggest change is better WPF support, so XAML is a ‘lesser’ pain in the butt to program… Wether they also included a new version of the LINQ tools, I don’t know yet.. But I’m going to check and find out 🙂
