Security on the Network
still playing around with Windows Longhorn server. My happyness is growing more and more.
Browsing through the group policy settings I encounterd the following: wired network policies. It seems you can create both Wired and Wireless policies so that your systems authenticate themselves before accessing the network:
This way you can separate wireless and wired computers. In this build there is only the possibility of creating wired policies for Vista (of course) and there are two separate wireless policies for XP and Vista. Let's hope Microsoft will create a new network stack for XP that CAN use wired policies too.
