My biography

The title of the blog probably gives a hint, but my name is Raimond Brookman.

I work as an IT-Architect at Info Support and I’m mainly concerned with .NET Technology. I’ve been with the company since ’96 and have been using .NET for development of production systems since the final beta of .NET 1.0 (We went in production with RTM though :-)). Before that I’ve done MTS/VB6 apps and C++.

On the Architecture side, I focus on Enterprise Administrative Applications and Service Oriented Architecture. I’m also one of the Architects of Endeavour (dutch, english), which is Info Support’s sofware factory, that we use for internal projects and also have made available for customers to buy.

To have the maximum integration of the newest Endeavour version with Visual Studio Team System, Info Support joined the Technical Adaption Program (TAP) for Team System. In the context of this program we made several trips to Redmond to exchange feedback and ideas only early CTP’s and Beta’s of Visual Studio Team System. Furthermore, I’ve also partipated as a speaker in the Ascend program for Visual Studio 2005 and .NET 2.0, where we’ve given sessions on Team System, ASP.NET 2.0, .NET 2.0 etc. to a attendees from across Europe.

My goal is to make it easy for organisations, IT-departements and developers to create correctly architectured, performant and easy to maintain applications that solve the Customer’s business problems.

My blog is about all of the above stuff, and more…
