Desktop Java Features in Mustang

Recently, the Desktop Java engineering team, led by Chet Haase and Scott Violet published an article at the Sun Developer Network about proposed enhancements for desktop Java development in Mustang (a.k.a. Java 6).

The list consists of features and requests that they are hoping to deliver in Mustang, and is broken up into different areas of client technology, including: Swing, Java2D, Internationalization, AWT, and deployment (Java Web Start).
