MicLarosoft Windows Formula 1

I am quite a Formula 1 enthusiast and just read that Microsoft is getting into the sport!

As of the 2008 season, all teams will drive with the same ECU (Engine Control Unit) and the FIA tendered a contract for a standard supplier of these units.

Microsoft, in cooperation with Mclaren Electronic Systems, participated and this morning announced they won the tender!

It’s going to be funny hearing the Vista Welcoming Sound roaring on the Barcelona main straight 😀
