OUCH

eager to get the new Hyper-V working after two weeks of frustration that I got my hands on it, and not being able to get it installed because of the lack of available hardware, I installed the RC1 escrow build this afternoon. (Maybe you recall me having a new machine with a dual boot with my vista x64) I entered the DVD, booted from it, installed everything, Hyper-V was THERE (after installing the two updates) and I rebooted to go back to Vista, to my surprise: no boot menu and a plain and simple boot to Server 2008 happened. HMMMM not good. At this moment I am trying to restore my boot sequese and boot menu. I use EasyBCD for it, up till now it helped me to add an entry, that refers to the disk my vista install is on, now I have to get it working with disk and partition numbers and not with drive letters, because both installs have C: as their driveletter.

I’ll keep you posted
