TechEd ItForum, day1

the first day of ItForum starts only at 14.00 hour. so the morning we had for visiting the cultural side of Barcelona, so we went of to the sagrada famiglia, and park Guell. it was a little bit cloudy, but we had a nice view over the city.

We went back for lunch and the kickof of the event. It was a ball, they had a nice drumming group to pass the time until the keynote. They were good.

The keynote was almost all demo’s, which is what I like, it keeps you awake. I was stunned that on this event we had an introduction of Windows Home server, It is not a product I had expected to be there. after that We had two breakout sessions, whoch were quite good. One on encryption, one on server 2008. the latter one was done in a nice manner, although I did not hear much news.

Tomorrow will be a long day of sessions.
