TechNet Live (part two)

The best way to add adrenaline to your body, was disclosed to me in between my sessions. I was cleaning up my sessions and VPC’s af the first session, to start the machines needed for the second session. These VPC’s are on my external harddisk. so I went there, and no drive letter, so I was surprised. I went into computer management, to give the disk a drive letter, and it told me there was no partition, it was a clean disk. POOOOOF up goes the adrenaline…

switched of the disk, unplugged it from my machine. Rebooted my system, switched on the disk, plugged it in, and there it was…. PHEW. that saved the day. I did not have any alternative for the demo I was planning to do…. So next time I will use my local drive as backup for the VPC’s. I’d rather have a slow demo than NO demo.

 ADDITION:

for those of you wondering wether I have backup or not: I do have Backup, both on DVD as on another machine available, the only thing is, I did not have those available at that specific point in time and place.
