VMRC-Plus

As I posted previously, I am in love with VMRC plus and Virtual Server 2005 R2 SP1. When you decide to install Virtual Server, and leave out the website, you can install VS2k5r2sp1 and add VMRCPlus later. you do not need to hassle with the IIS setup etc. enabling VMRC access is arranged through VMRC plus. so there seems no need to add resource hoggers or surfacerisks like IIS anymore while you still have all the advantages of VS2k5R2SP1 ( I love this acronym….)

Addition: especially on a Vista box this will help you a lot. for on XP/Windows Serer 2003 installation of IIS is straightforward, and on vista/server2008 it is (to say the least) different… 😀
